- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Why does your property taxes in Englewood increase almost every year??? You have overstaffed Englewood police officers that are on their Facebook during the slow times looking at their newsfeed at the expense of your tax dollars. True fact. I drive by officers on S Main St. and see them looking down at their phones. The officers think the mere presence of their marked vehicles is enough to slow down traffic while they see what their friends are doing at that given moment. Were you folks trained to look down for long periods of time when having situational awareness?
